Privacy at a glance

Jack-O-Lantern Jump stores progress locally and offers optional score and achievement sharing through Apple Game Center. It has no advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or sale of information.

Information stored on your device

The game stores preferences and progress—such as settings, best score, candy, highest realm, objectives, and completed runs—locally on your device using Apple-provided storage. This information is used only to operate the game and is not sent to the developer.

Game Center

In build 94 and later, Game Center sharing starts off, including after upgrading from an earlier build. Tap the leaderboard or Settings → Game Center to choose Enable Sharing. This sends new run scores and earned achievements to Apple Game Center, associated with the Game Center account signed in on the device. Other players can see your score and Game Center name/profile according to Apple’s settings. Apple processes this information under its Game Center policies. The developer does not operate a leaderboard server or copy Game Center records into a separate gameplay database. Signing into Game Center alone does not enable sharing in this game. Declining leaves the complete offline game and local records available. No earlier local scores are queued for upload.

To stop future uploads, open Settings → Game Center → Stop Sharing. This does not delete previously submitted scores or cancel requests already sent to Apple. Manage your Game Center profile and data through Apple’s settings and privacy tools. Earlier beta builds did not have this separate control; update to build 94 or later to use it.

Support emails

If you email support, your email address and anything you choose to send are used only to answer your request and troubleshoot the game. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support and recordkeeping; you may request its deletion by emailing the address below.

Children

Optional Game Center sharing is governed by Apple’s account settings, including applicable child-account restrictions. It has no account creation, chat, user-generated content, behavioral advertising, or location tracking.

Website

This website is delivered through Cloudflare for security and performance. Cloudflare may process limited technical request data, such as IP address and browser information, to provide and protect the service. The website has no account system, forms, advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.

Data choices and deletion

Local game data remains on the device until the app’s local storage is removed, such as when the app is deleted. Game Center information is managed through Apple. Because the developer receives no local gameplay data, there is no developer-held gameplay account to delete.

Changes

If the game’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the change is released.
